Offering a lighter and more maneuverable feel in a player's spec racquet, the Pure Storm offers all the control and feel in a racquet that's easy to get around. We enjoyed a crisp and clean feel from this racquet and a response that's also big on comfort. Players who like to take aggressive cuts at the ball to generate lots of spin will find a willing partner in the Pure Storm. This racquet features Babolat's Carbon Xtrem construction, comprised of a specially braided graphite utilized around the racquet head for increased stability. At net the Pure Storm offers enough pop to help get volleys away, but as with the majority of player's racquets, control is emphasized over power. The racquet feels very fast at net and when mobility is of high importance such as serve returns and approach shots. Our TW Playtesters found enough control to allow for aggressive swings on approach shots without fear of over-hitting. Players who thought control and feel only came with hefty player's racquets will be pleasantly surprised by the response of this one. Best suited to 4.0+ level players.
