Babolat brings another update to this popular lightweight racquet. The Drive Z Lite continues to offer superb maneuverability and good feel upon ball strike. With a 311 swingweight (RDC) and 9.7 ounce strung weight, this racquet was easy to swing fast, allowing for plenty of spin on groundstrokes and serve. Power was easy to find as well with a head heavy balance and Woofer grommet system, which allows strings to move, resulting in a larger sweet spot. With the Cortex System in the handle, the Drive Z Lite maintains good comfort. The Cortex System is designed to filter out harmful racquet vibrations, yet still allow the player to feel the ball. Our TW playtesters found this racquet to offer excellent mobility and a solid feel from all areas of the court. Spin was easily created to offer control to this 'tweener stick. Stronger players may even want to beef this one up with some lead weight customization. Best suited to 3.5 to 5.0 level players, the Drive Z-Lite offers a forgiving response from all areas of the court.
