The Babolat Aero Storm Tour gets a brand new cosmetic and technology update with the Aero Storm Tour GT. Our TW playtesters noticed a more solid and stable feel than the previous version, thanks to the GT update. Graphite Tungsten is a hybrid material, combing carbon fibers and tungsten filaments. The Aero Storm Tour GT combines the AeroPro beam in the throat but the Pure Storm beam in the hoop; a blend of the standout characteristics from both racquets. Our TW team found great control from all areas of the court. Spin was easily accessible even with the 16x20 string pattern. As with the previous model, we found this racquet to have exceptional maneuverability and plough-through. Up at net, our playtesters were volleying with confidence due to the mobility and stability, controlling pace and depth well. On serve, there was plenty of mass to hit through the ball. Our team found the power and spin to be impressive. For the intermediate to advanced player looking for a 12+ ounce racquet with great control and mobility, the Aero Storm Tour GT is a must demo. Recommended for the 4.0+ player. Note: Due to racquet stiffness, when stringing with a polyester or a co-polyester we highly suggest 54lbs as a starting point for tension.
